Ava Mayfair Frosted Rose Aroma Oil

Introducing the Frosted Rose Aroma Oil in collaboration with Societi, The UK Kawasaki Disease Foundation. We are honoured to have been approached by the wonderful Rachael & the Societi team, whom we have collaborated with to create this beautiful charity wax melt pack. The team at Ava May have been inspired by Mrs Hinch’s determination to get Kawasaki Disease known since her own family was hit by this little known illness in 2023.  Each Ava May & Societi wax melt will come with a Societi information insert – the perfect size to keep in your purse or wallet – with the key facts everyone needs to know about Kawasaki Disease. Plus each pack sold will result in a £1 donation to Societi to help the team continue raising awareness of Kawasaki disease known & ultimately ‘working together to protect tiny hearts’.

Of course we had to make sure this special wax melt pack had unique charm & what could be better than the Societi heart with a burgundy bow to reflect the charities logo and colours. The fragrance for this collaboration had to of course be a nod to Sophie in the form of Frosted Rose, with top notes of crisp apple, succulent peach, tropical fruits, and zesty citrus create a refreshing symphony that sparkles like frost-kissed mornings. Blooming in the heart, delicate white flowers intertwine with the timeless allure of roses, crafting an elegant and floral embrace. As the fragrance settles, the base notes unfold—frosted raspberry imparts a sweet chill, while vanilla adds a creamy warmth.

Since founding Ava May Aromas in July 2018, many of our followers will know that Sophie has been such a huge part of our story. Not only has she supported us from the very beginning, she has also become a much loved friend. Finally having a way to thank her and do something to give back in return to a cause that means so much to her & her family means so much to us. What is an Aroma Oil?

Quite simply, an aroma is made from synthetic fragrance and is sometimes mixed with a small amount of essential oil. Due to the dilution, aroma oils are usually milder than essential oils. The purpose of an aroma oil is in the name. It’s to create a wonderful fragrance to suit the mood of the user. Aroma oil is therefore added to wax to create wax melts and candles but can also be used in an aroma oil diffuser (either electric or ceramic).

How does an Aroma Oil Diffuser work?

A volume of water is added to a diffuser followed by a few drops of aroma oil according to personal preference on strength of scent. A heat source is then applied (a tea light for a ceramic burner or the flick of a switch for an electric burner) thereby heating the water which releases scented steam into the air.
